Participants learn how to recognize and provide care in respiratory and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants, with special emphasis on two-rescuer CPR use of the resuscitation mask, bag-valve-mask and Automated External Defibrillator. Techniques for minimizing the risk of disease transmission and for special resuscitation situations are included.
We teach Stress Free hands-on BLS classes in Approx. 2.5 hours depending on class size at your location. Our course taught by firefighters and nurses can sharpen your skills and demonstrate new techniques so you can deliver care to those in need and help improve patient outcomes.
This in classroom-based course, American Heart Association certificate is valid for 2 year. A written and practical test must be completed. Healthcare professionals learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
After successfully completing an BLS (Basic Life Support) class, participants are awarded a certification provider eCArd card.
